As a British-Tamil teenager with hardcore movie buffs as parents, Tamil cinema and pop culture is not something I can avoid. I spent a lot of my childhood watching Tamil films.
On Tuesday, January 13th, indie movie loving Torontonians braved the cold, jumped into their cars and headed over to the Fox Theatre to catch the premiere of The Rajini Effect. The film was sponsored by TC, with support from Konnect Communications, Mandraa TV, Fusion By T and many others. Here’s a recap from the night.

I used to watch a lot of Tamil movies growing up in the 90s. Also, I thought Senthil and Vadivelu, who appeared in most popular movies in those days, were freaking hilarious!
